Marion Fire Department Discovers Meth Lab

Marion firefighters got a surprise Tuesday after extinguishing a blaze in the 1300 block of North Carroll Street. After they put out the fire, they discovered an inactive meth lab in one of the rooms. No arrests have yet been made. No one was injured in the fire and damage to the home was minimal. Last year, authorities busted a total of nine meth labs in Grant County. This month alone, they’ve already dismantled four.
