Woman Hospitalized After Head-On Crash With Semi

A Richmond woman has been hospitalized after her van crossed the center line on U.S. 35 and struck a semi tractor-trailer head-on yesterday morning. Paula R. Ripberger was taken to the hospital with an arm injury, after her mini-van crossed the center line and struck a semi. She became entrapped in her vehicle and had to be extracted by emergency personnel. The driver of the semi was uninjured.
