Brothers Arrested On Murder Suspicion

A new twist in the Madison County murder of Spencer Smith: Madison County Sheriff’s Department detectives yesterday arrested two brothers in connection with the crime. 19-year-old Jonathon Dean Wood and 23-year-old Joshua Michael Wood were arrested at their home without incident. Detectives are seeking felony murder charges against each man. Smith, died from four gunshots early Tuesday at his home in Stony Creek Township. Malcolm D. Cobb is also accused of shooting Smith, and has been held without bond at the Madison County Jail.
