Convicted On Drug Charges, Murder Charges Next

A Muncie man with a long criminal history has been handed a maximum sentence for recent drug-dealing convictions. Terrence J. Douglass was found guilty of two counts of dealing cocaine to an informant in 2010. Douglass still faces murder charges stemming from the shooting of 33-year-old Jamel Barnes at a near-southside intersection.

INDOT Mandate To Help Accomodate Holiday Traffic
24.05.13Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
