The Anderson Redevelopment Commission has given the go-ahead to pursue remodeling at the Flagship Enterprise Center. The remodeling would be to accommodate auto parts manufacturer Keihin North America, which will open April 1 on the second floor and part of the first floor in the Flagship main building. Last month, the company signed a six-year lease, but the city’s original operating agreement with Flagship hadn’t included helping with improvements to the main building.

A monstrous tornado at least a half-mile wide with winds up to 200 mph ripped through the Oklahoma city of Moore Monday. Officials say the death toll is expected to rise while more than 200 are being treated at hospitals.The National Weather Service says the twister was at least an EF4.
