ISP Trooper Gives Chase; Apprehends Driver

It was anything but a routine pullover when Indiana State Police tried to stop the driver of a pickup truck for not wearing his safety belt yesterday. The driver took off at a high rate of speed on Central Avenue in Anderson. After a short chase, the vehicle ended up in a McDonald’s restaurant where the driver jumped out and ran. Police apprehended Jomokali B. Bailey of Anderson and charged him with resisting, fleeing and OWI. He was lodged in the Madison County Jail
