A Potentially Explosive Situation Averted

A potentially explosive situation was averted Friday afternoon after officials say a utility crew caused a significant gas leak in the heart of Albany. The leak was on a property at the intersection of Main and Walnut streets. 10 nearby residences and a greenhouse had to evacuate until the gas was shut off. Ind. 67 through Albany was also rerouted during the incident.
