“Failure To Yield” May Have Caused Saturday Fatality

The driver of a car involved in two-vehicle crash at Ind. 3 and the Muncie Bypass Saturday afternoon died after being flown to an Indianapolis hospital. The 27-year-old man from Brazil, Ind., died at St. Vincent Hospital after receiving injuries in a crash that resulted from a vehicle failing to yield to another at the northbound IND 3 bottle neck.

INDOT Mandate To Help Accomodate Holiday Traffic
24.05.13Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
