Anderson Landmark To Be Auctioned Feb. 20

An open house was held yesterday for people interested in buying an Anderson landmark. Tower Place downtown apartments was open for inspection by potential buyers. The historic 12-story building dates from the late 1920s and is the tallest building in Anderson. It closed in late 2011 amid troubled management. The structure at 11th and Jackson streets will be auctioned on Feb. 20.

INDOT Mandate To Help Accomodate Holiday Traffic
24.05.13Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
