Local United Way Feeling The Pinch

Everyone is feeling the effects of the struggling economy, even the United Way of Delaware County. The funding source for many nonprofit programs failed to meet its $2 million goal for its 2012 campaign. As of Feb. 1, the agency has raised nearly 83 percent of the goal. Last year, the agency raised $1.8 million of their $2 million goal by this time.
