Two employees of the Muncie Sanitary District got quite the surprise the other day. While working the trash route, Rick Walls and Mike Upchurch, discovered that someone put a puppy in a trash bag and then set it out for the garbage truck. They saved the puppy – which is doing fine. Authorities found the woman responsible, who shockingly says she’s done the same thing before. The woman may face criminal charges. Upchurch has already adopted the dog…and named him Garby.
