Meth Charges Bumped To Felonies

Three Muncie residents have been jailed for their alleged involvement in the production and dealing of methamphetamine from a home on the city’s south side. Jerry Dean Hendershot, Chanda Lou Ditmars and Ronald Scott Hobbs were arrested on numerous charges. Police say an active meth lab was also discovered within the home.
The drugs were allegedly dealt and located in a home within 1,000 feet of a day care; the charges were bumped up to Class A felonies.

Staff Relations Manager Barb Cross says she‘s among numerous Red Cross staffers nationwide on the ground and assessing the needs.
