Farm Land Property Tax Bill On Governor’s Desk

SB 319 is the first piece of legislation to pass both houses in the 2013 legislative session.
It addresses the assessment of farmland for property tax purposes. This piece of legislation prevents farmers from having to pay a significant increase in taxes and looks into how farmland will be assessed in the future.” The bill now heads to the governor’s desk to be signed into law.

INDOT Mandate To Help Accomodate Holiday Traffic
24.05.13Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
