Mayor Continues To Push Annexation Plan

Mayor Kevin Smith continues to push his Anderson Fast Forward annexation plan. He spent yesterday promoting the plan to business clubs and civic groups. Many residents and even town officials in the affected areas see the plan as a blatant land grab and want to bring Fast Forward to a fast stop.

INDOT Mandate To Help Accomodate Holiday Traffic
24.05.13Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
