Muncie To Replace Traffic Signal Poles

The Muncie Board of Works has approved street Supt. Duke Campbell’s request to seek bids for a project to replace eight traffic signal poles along Jackson Street between Liberty and Madison streets with decorative poles. The work is being done in conjunction with a state project to improve not only traffic signals but sidewalk ramps along the route.

INDOT Mandate To Help Accomodate Holiday Traffic
24.05.13Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
