Governor Decrees March As Disability Awareness Month

A proclamation by Governor Mike Pence and the Indiana Governor’s Council for People with Disabilities, declares March as Disability Awareness Month. This year’s theme, “Community Connections,” reminds us that if our communities are to grow and prosper – with appropriate housing, transportation and access to community services – residents, business and civic leaders alike need to work together to make all Hoosier communities “livable.”

INDOT Mandate To Help Accomodate Holiday Traffic
24.05.13Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
