ISP Arrests Muncie Man After Short Pursuit

Indiana State police have arrested a Muncie man following a short pursuit. Authorities were attempting to stop a vehicle on State Road 38 in Wayne County that matched the description of a stolen vehicle when the driver refused to stop and sped away. 48-year-old Fransciso Pemintel was eventually captured, arrested and charged with resisting law enforcement, possession of stolen property, and operating without ever obtaining a license.

INDOT Mandate To Help Accomodate Holiday Traffic
24.05.13Contractors moved barrels and barricades along interstate work sites Friday to help accommodate Memorial Weekend traffic. The Indiana Department of Transportation mandated that there be no work in construction zones over the holiday weekend and Indiana State Police will be closely monitoring those sites.
