Indiana State Police are working with the Delaware County prosecutor’s office as they investigate the theft of several thousand dollars from a safe at the Delaware County Fairgrounds. Officials say as much as four thousand dollars may be missing. The investigation is ongoing but is close to completion. Investigators have been working on the case since it was first reported, during the Delaware County Fair last summer.
