Yahoo Sports, ABC News and The Indianapolis Star are all reporting that Payton Manning is unlikely to resume his Quarterback career. The Indy Star quotes Yahoo Sports as saying – People close to Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning say “The nerves in Manning’s arm are not healing as quickly as hoped and, worse, don’t appear to be progressing at enough of a rate to indicate that he will play again, according to two sources with knowledge of Manning’s rehabilitation from neck surgery.” “The vertebrae in his neck that were fused have healed as expected and Manning began throwing in December. But he hasn’t shown improvement in velocity on his passes, and the two sources fear he likely never will again.” Manning did not play in the 2011 season to recover from neck surgery last summer.

Scott Stonebraker, doing business as Muncie Properties, acknowledged on Monday that his attempt to sell 18 of his apartment buildings during an auction in December had failed. As a result, Stonebraker plans to shutter 18 buildings, ranging from former single-family structures to a 12-unit apartment building at 710 E. Main Street. Muncie Properties will continue to rent apartments in more than 30 other buildings that remain profitable. And the firm will try to find new rental housing for those tenants who are being displaced.
